By accessing or using uprightpath.com or any of its hosted platforms — CCMS, Divine Logic, or Christian Review (collectively, "the Services") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Services
UpRight Path provides the following digital ministry platforms:
- CCMS (Church Management System): Tools for church administration, member records, event scheduling, and communication.
- Divine Logic: An AI-assisted sermon preparation and content generation tool for pastors and ministry leaders.
- Christian Review: A Christian-perspective media advisory and review resource.
Features, pricing, and availability of the Services may change at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Services on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Account Registration
Certain features require you to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and not share account credentials.
- Notify us immediately at admin@uprightpath.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in violation of these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with Christian values. You may not:
- Post, upload, or transmit content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit.
- Use the Services to harass, threaten, or harm any individual or group.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other accounts, or our servers.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or harvest data from the Services without our written permission.
- Impersonate any person, organization, or church.
- Use AI-generated content from Divine Logic in a way that misrepresents its origin or deceives a congregation.
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, without prior notice.
6. AI-Generated Content (Divine Logic)
Divine Logic uses artificial intelligence to assist with sermon preparation and ministry content. By using this platform:
- You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or theologically imprecise statements and must be reviewed by a qualified ministry leader before use.
- You are solely responsible for any content you publish, preach, or distribute that is derived from the platform.
- You agree not to represent AI-generated sermons or content as entirely your own original work without appropriate disclosure to your congregation or audience.
- UpRight Path does not guarantee the theological accuracy of any AI-generated output.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
Some platforms offer free tiers and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at checkout.
- You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time unless required by law.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your paid account.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, logos, and branding on uprightpath.com and its hosted platforms are the intellectual property of UpRight Path unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our express written permission.
Content you create or upload using the Services (e.g., church member data, sermon notes) remains your property. By uploading it, you grant UpRight Path a limited license to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors). These links are provided for convenience only. UpRight Path does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site or service. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UpRight Path disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose.
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Accuracy or completeness of any content, including AI-generated content.
- Freedom from viruses or other harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UpRight Path and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services — including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to UpRight Path in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UpRight Path and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Services.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate your use of the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitation of liability) shall survive.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the United States.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Services after any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
